Genuine Moroccan Leather Pouffe Made by the world renowned artisans of Marrakech.

The pouffe is designed and produced in the traditional way.

The leather is organically tanned and the pouffe is hand crafted by Moroccan artisans in the souks and tanneries of Marrakech.

All the leather is hand-tanned, hand cut and hand-dyed in the traditional way.

Due to the natural nature of this product there may be occasional blemishes on the pouffes.

Please note the pouffes are posted unstuffed for ease or posting – they can be filled with any soft material, linen, clothing – no special stuffing.

This is a fair trade product, we source directly from a small family run leather workshop in Marrakech.

This item was sourced direct from the makers in Morocco and a fair trade price was paid for their exceptional craftsmanship.

This Leather Maroc Pouffe is made using traditional techniques by Jamal Laqlib in Morocco.  Moroccan Leather is famous all over the work for its quality (particularly due to the use of goatskin) and production skill.  The techniques used to dye and cure the leather are the subject of an interesting blog post on this site.
