Kamal is the last remaining completely handmade football maker in the world. There are other balls here claiming to be handmasde but if you youtube their companies you can see they are made by teams of people and they are using machines. Basically they are factory made. This is different. Kamal was taught by his father from the ages of 13. He and his brother learned from their father – his brother still makes balls but uses machines for stitching etc. Kamal remained true to the traditional process.He makes everything by hand, He cuts the many leather panels by hand, Each panel is double thickness. He stitches everything by hand, laquers it by hand and brands it by hand. It takes several days to make a ball and of course this means that only one man can make maybe 100 balls maximum in a year. The actual figure is less than this. You will see he is on TV all over the world Al Jazeera, Le Monde etc We have secured some of Kamals balls and bring them here for sale.
