Karimba / Mbira

This Thumb Piano is a 17 note hand-made made from wood and metal. This one is made in Vietnam.

Each note is written on the key and it comes with a soft case, cleaning cloth and tuning mallet.

This is a pro-quality instrument but can be used by beginners.

Dimensions : 17.5 x 14 x 6cm (using maximum points)

Motif and colour will vary a little but its the same design. We’ve show a few examples in the pictures.

The tuning allows wonderful melodies to be produced almost of their own accord, simply by plucking the tines with the thumbs. As all the notes harmonies with each other, beginners also enjoy immediate success with their instrument.
