Kitenge Shoulder Bag

This original and very funky shaped travel / festival bag is made from patchworks of bright traditional African fabrics.

They were made by local dressmakers in Kampala, Uganda, who use the cotton Kitenge or chitenge, which is an East African, West African and Central African fabric worn in abundance of colour throughout.

Dimensions: 36 x 32 x 15cm (without handles).

The handles bring the length to 62cm. Zip close.

Each one will be different and unique due to the individual variation of patches but will be of the same style.

Terrapin Trading sourced these bags from a local artisanal market where an ethical price was paid.
