Palo Santo (Bursera Graveolens) sticks.

Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens), which means “holy wood” or “wood of the saints”, is a tree renowned for its mystical and healing properties that grows on the coast of South America and is related to Frankincense, Myrrh, and Copal. It is used for smudging and cleansing rituals and renowned for  bringing good fortune. It grows in dry tropical forests and produces very fragrant resin.

This is a species that is not endangered. Our Palo Santo  is sourced through an Ecuadorian-based NGO called Ecuadorian Hands.

This product is harvested without harming the trees. Our growers are committed to planting new trees (Over 50000 so far), and they only harvest fallen wood with the aim of creating a sustainable product. We pay Fair Trade prices to ensure the workers harvesting and producing it benefit from the resources they are helping to manage.

Our sticks have a high oil content.

50G = 8-10 sticks

100g = 16-20 sticks

250g = 40-50 sticks

500g = 80-100 1 kilo = 160-200 sticks.

Average length: 10cms (10x1x1cm, 4-6grs each).

The sticks are easy to use due to the high oil content in the wood. Simply ignite with a lighter or match, and let the flame burn on the wood and blow it out as you would an incense stick. The white ember will give off the fragrant smoke.

The beautiful aroma from the smoking wood is used to create a calm environment to relieve pain and stress. Its also said to clear negative energy and has been used by indigenous peoples for centuries.
