Tribal Drum

The most important Native American instrument was and still is the drum, as you can tell by going to any powwow or Indian event. Different tribes have different traditions about the drum and how to play it, but the basic construction is very similar in most tribes: a wooden frame or a carved and hollowed-out log, with finely tanned skin stretched taut across the opening by sinew thongs.

Made from wood, leather skin and cord. Comes with stick.

Please note there will differences in design as they are hand made and painted with different patterns. The animal or design in the centre will vary. We will send a random design as they are all different but all are beautiful.

This is a lovingly handmade reproduction Native American drum made by Nanang Designs from real wood. We have show some of the designs in the images for you to see. They are based on the classic drums of the American tribes such as the Sioux and Navajo. These lovingly reproduced drums combine all the traditional elements. They are made by a family run business and we sourced the product personally.
