This gamelan was hand crafted and tuned in Bali from sustainable and eco-friendly bamboo by a family of traditional Balinese Musicians. Bamboo is a very fast growing and useful plant, that is also happens to be very eco friendly.

This is a wonderful traditional instrument that was hand crafted and hand tuned by a wonderful family of musicians from Bali. We buy these directly from them. Each bamboo slat sits upon a resonator crafted from a bamboo tube, this intensifies the sound which is sweet and melodious.

The bamboo is left natural and decorated with a spiral design that is burned into the bamboo, the bamboo then coated with varnish.

Includes two rubber mallets for you. Everyone loves these kids and adults alike enjoy playing this educational and fun instrument.
