Fair Trade Tribal Hoody Contemporary alpaca hoody designed and hand made by a womens collective of skilled dressmakers in the mountainous region of Bolivia.

Each one of these hoodies are unique in their design, and have been made in small batches exclusively for Terrapin Trading.

We have been working on collaborations with the all-female group of Mayan designers and dressmakers in La Paz for over 13 years and we are really excited by this new range.

The hoodies are super soft, very warm and very funky. They are made from the softest alpaca wool and are beautifully hand made. Each has a different design and finish.

Some have a traditional Bolivian tribal finish in rich, bright colours, featuring Mayan symbols. Whereas others have a more contemporary minimalist design.

All have a nod to the rich Bolivian culture within which they were produced. Zip close, large stylish hood.

All our alpaca items are made by Maritza in La Paz, Bolivia from 100% Alpaca wool. We also sell some baby alpaca items. We have been working with Maritza and her womans collective since 2011.
